Inventions and discoveries unattempted; And each day of the year the grave yard swallow many.
Now it begs the question..why?...
Is it that people prefer to go just like that?
Answer: no and yes....how?.. you may ask...well let me take us back to where it all begins....the starting point...the foundation...the family!
The family have become the first killer of dreams and ambition.....not in all cases though, but we all know how this goes....; as that young man or lady is slowly discovering the talent which has been deposited in every human by the Most high...some families begin to encourage and support...
Providing the necessities for the growing and development of that talent into a skill which in turn turns into a pay cheque #bigSmile#.
On the other hand some families or permit me to use the word...*most* families have turned the birth and parenting of a child into a cash/reward system...they believe as a child you owe your existence to them (the parent)...they want to live out their failed lives through you; now control and domination sets in; so you say you have discovered your talent....you want to develop it...grow your dream...to become a dancer for instance.
Then it starts...the discouragement...the talk down...the pressure to concentrate and become that which they want you to become because they gave you life...not leaving out how much have/ is still going into your education to become their dream come true "what is best for you"; now
Most young people In this category give into the pressure...giving up their dreams for fear of discomfort and what lies beyond the safe haven of a home and financial security....the girls get married off because that is what is expected of them, and only 10% get to pursue or even dare to live their dreams while In marriage! Sad!...quite sad!
Yes we live in a system that make parents demi-gods because of the financial life wire,"the control wire"!
How can some one want what is best for you without first
Asking..."what do you want".? And actually listen for an answer!!!
It is hard....it is difficult...it gets tough....the road isn't rosy at all...but if you don't face your fears...you will only add to the richness of the grave yard sooner or later...unfullfilled and full of regret!
Rebel...fight for your passion....unbelievers will fall in line with time.
