So I attended an event on Saturday and was awed at the glamour…class and sass…. I must give it to Naija babes we have come a long way…but beautiful sisters of the chocolate brand…what is it with the fake synthetic extension attached to those beautiful eyes with very harsh adhesives?!!!(obviously caked up or halfway melting into the eye)….seriously I thought we were way past that era!!!
Ok I get it…. The thrill and flattery feeling of long lashes…the way it makes the eye pop!...giving it that sultry…seductive after glance….nothing beats this feeling!....hehehe. But sweethearts the synthetic glue attachment is a NO NO NO!!! Glue is not meant for the skin…and the eye is a sensitive part…apart from the fact that it ruins what is left of your natural eyelash…causes skin irritation…it also poses a great danger to the eye…
YES! This is speaking from experience…a couple of years ago…I became bald on the eyes…lol! Thanks to the glue…it wasn’t funny….so I took it upon myself to find ways to grow and maintain the natural eyelash, and a simple trick is in everyday grooming; it doesn’t require much, just the following:
• VITAMIN E OIL
• COCONUT OIL
• CASTRO OIL.
How this works:
Put a little bit of each in a small jar…mix it up and apply on your eyelash just before bedtime….do this for a couple of days to a week or two….the result is splendid…with a good mascara to go….you are good to go!#stylematters #styleyourclass.
