The Road not taken……is the road less traveled and in most cases not traveled at all…
This road is a lonely high way….with no sign or directions; A road with so many paths leading exactly nowhere according to fear.
This road is dreaded and highly avoided because of the unknown….time wasting…and the monsters that lurk in the dark in this road less traveled.
This road does not lead straight to a husband’s house immediately after graduation or while still in school.
This road does not lead to safety…security…and confinement according to some.
It does not lead to unholy and wrong unions.
This road leads to a very prolonged period of being alone…experiencing loneliness….abandonment…betrayals…..heartbreaks….comparison and criticisms from the very ones called your own.
This road lead to self discovery…self development…esteem building and independence.
Learning sometimes the hard way about what/who is worth it and and what isn’t .
A road that teaches you that being alone is not a disease or a crime; a road that builds you into the ideal man/woman that everyone desires at last.
This is a road not taken by so many.
Which road are you travelling on? And where are you going?
